Here's
a very different kind of song which I just finished which
is my attempt of mixing audio clips gathered from a favorite
LP of electronic music which was recorded in 1961. I pushed
it way over the edge from the original recording by remixing,
reassembling, chopping apart clips and adding some drums...The
Other Extreme.

Here's
one similar to the previous song Jumpin
Thru the Purple Flames but with at least a couple of differences:
Morley wah on the lead guitar; harmonized vocals using Acid
Pro. The Morley wah pedal picked up an interesting radio signal
while I was recording so I used it around 4:54. Song length
is 5:54.

Well,
I've decided to put some of my original songs online even
though I'm not clear whether they are finished or not. Each
song that I add here probably will get re-mixed or in some
cases completely redone. Anyhow, here's the first one.
T
at 3 with vocals2 (mp3 - 5:53) All the parts in this song
were done by myself with the exception of the vocal part performed
by my wife. I used a preprogrammed drumbeat from breakbeatsonly.com.
I recorded live on electric bass and electric guitar for the
rhythm sections. I also used a variety of pad synths from
Reason 2.5. I played harmonized lead synths on my old Yamaha
PSR-500M. It was edited with Sound Forge7 and Acid Pro4.
