The source image for this piece was a hand-drawn 20 degree angle section of a circle drawn with graphite. It was then carefully pieced together with Photoshop 7 software and rendered in color.

Here's the original section after the paper image was scanned and level adjustments were made with Photoshop:

The rotation tool was the primary tool used to put the piece above into a circle to make a mandala. Some horizontal and vertical flipping was necessary.
